Welcome to MU's Center for the Literary Arts

The Center has produced a unique interdisciplinary program that brings together various departments, academic units and community organizations with a common interest in the art of writing. While diverse in areas, methods and programs, CLA members share two common purposes: 1) to provide our students with a more intensive training in the literary arts and 2) to apply their training to the ongoing life of our community and culture.

Announcements

The Judith A. and Richard B. Schwartz Student Travel Award is given annually to help fund student travel to study in England. The application deadline is March 10, 2008. Download the guidelines in pdf format.
